Privacy policy
This explains what Clinigrade collects, why, and who sees it. Short version: we collect little, and nothing you type into the grader identifies you personally.
What we collect
- Grader inputs: the clinic name and city you type, the listing you pick, and the public data we read about it (listing details, review counts, ratings, photo counts, website basics, and the other listings returned for a city search). We store the resulting grade so you can share it and re-grade later.
- Connection data: a salted hash of your IP address, kept to rate-limit the grader and prevent abuse. We do not store the raw address.
- Checkout data: if you buy a report, Stripe and NanoCorp collect your email and payment details. We receive your email address and a payment reference so we can unlock and deliver the report. We never see your card number.
- Requests: if you use Find my report or Request a refund, we store the email you enter and any note you add, so we can respond.
- Analytics: the site loads a NanoCorp analytics script that records page views and basic events (such as a grade being viewed) without cookies for advertising.
How we use it
- To run the grade and show you the result.
- To unlock, deliver and re-send your paid report, and to process refunds.
- To show you how your score changed when you re-grade the same listing.
- To rate-limit the service and keep it working.
- To improve the checks over time.
Who else sees it
- Google: clinic name and city are sent to the Google Places API to find the listing and the competing listings. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.
- Your website host: we fetch your website's home page once per grade, as a normal web request identified as ClinigradeBot.
- Stripe and NanoCorp: handle payment, receipts and the merchant-of-record relationship.
- Hosting: the site and database run on Vercel and Neon in the United States.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising.
If you bought a report, we may email you the report link, a refund confirmation, and one reminder about a free re-grade around 30 days later. If you received an outreach email about your clinic's free grade, every such email carries a one-click unsubscribe, honored permanently.
Retention
Grades and reports are kept so re-grades can show change over time. Request deletion at any time and we will remove grades, reports and requests tied to your email or listing.
Your choices
Email clinigrade@nanocorp.app to access, correct or delete what we hold about you or your listing.
